An eventful weekend

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty eventful. On Saturday, I went shopping with my family at the outlet. Below are 3 dresses I tried on at BR store. I ended up didn't getting any of those dresses.

What I like: All 3 dresses fit me quite well (all in 00P). Each has their own uniqueness. I went shopping this time purposely looking for more colorful clothes. My closet consists of 80% of grey/black/white color. I need to add more color to my closet. These are great choices for summer dresses!

What I don't like: None of these dresses are on sale. Range from $79.00 to $99.00. I have no plan to spend that much $$ on a summer dress when I know I probably wear them no more than a dozen times. I'll wait until they go on sale (probably in the next few weeks).

Lookbook: Spring/Summer Silk Dress

Fall is less than a month away so I thought I would wear my summer dresses more often before I had to put them away. Floral prints is always a big trend during spring and summer. I am not a floral-print kind of girl. Whenever I go shopping, I tend to pick out solid/simple patterns vs. floral or complicated prints. While out shopping a few months ago, I found this little cute dress at Bebe and thought it would be perfect for spring/summer. One thing that attracted me to this dress is the interesting design and its artsy look. I couldn't believe I actually liked the floral print dress . Click here to read more

What I am wearing:
Dress: Bebe Silk Dress in XXS (similar here or here)
Sandals: Steve Madden (similar here)

I love to shop at the end of the season for the next year. I guess that’s part of being a Mom. Clothes only last my little girl for 6 months. I stock up on jeans, tops, shorts in bigger sizes for the following year. I find many great deals at the end of each season. While out shopping last week, I not only found tons of stuff for her, I also scored some fabulous finds for myself. The best part is I do not have to wait until next year to wear these. Click below to see some fabulous finds.

Happy Anniversary, blog!

Just a quick post today to say Happy Anniversary to my little blog. I have joined blogger on 05.12.2010 and today marks 3 months....

I just want to thank each and every one of you for following my blog and leaving me comments. I have met amazing ladies on here. You guys are my inspirations. My first 3-month of blogging has been amazing. Blogging is not only provides great opportunities for me to interact with a wider set of people who shares the same interest, but also improving my writing skills and reading habits.

This is typical me in the morning, sitting at my reading corner and catching up with bloggers

When I first started blogging, hubby afraid blogging will influence my purchase decisions. Another word, he afraid I am going to purchase every single thing you ladies have mentioned on your blogs. That's not completely true! I have to admit that I am pretty good at control myself from shopping habits. One major advantage of blogging for me is that I feel like I am much more educated when it comes to shopping. I wear more fitted clothes since I discovered more petite-friendly brands that I haven't known before. I am more particular about what I should buy and what I shouldn't buy. On top of that, I save money on my purchases by checking out the best bargains and deals from other blogs.

From time to time, I have to remind myself to be true to my interests and passions. All in all, blogging isn't a job. It's a place to relax, have fun, sharing the experiences and make new friends. Blogging is so much fun if used correctly!

xoxo,

My brother and sister-in-law just came home from SoCal for their one-week vacation. I am so jealous! They had a great times visiting Disney and nearby beaches. Of course the food was awesome too. They brought home for me some goodies. That was so sweet of them!  First item they brought back for me was this dress. Click here to read more..

Review: Allison Izu - Denim for petites (Panio Bootcut)

Today, I am reviewing the Paniolo bootcut denim from Allison Izu collection. I love how she named her denim in Hawaiian. According to the site, Paniolo means “cowboy”. I personally prefer bootcut denim over a pair of skinnies.
