Hope you're having a great weekend. The weather was so beautiful today. We went for a long hike earlier and it was refreshing. Wanted to share a quick and easy way to turn beautiful Chanel buttons into classy stud earrings. I saw these gorgeous earrings on Fashionphile a while back and fell in love with them. They are simple yet elegant. However, the price tags are a bit hard to swallow (especially for costume jewelry). I did some research and decided to repurpose these Chanel buttons into stud earrings. Hubby helped to ground the shanks from the back of the buttons down. I then used E-6000 glue to attach the buttons to the flat ear posts. I left them dry for 24 hours and there you have it, Chanel button earrings! They turned out well and I love them so much. The best part? They didn't cost me an arm and a leg =) If you don't want to DIY, you can purchase the exact earrings here.
