Our home has 4 bedrooms and one of them was used as an exercise room. It’s not ideal to have exercise equipments upstairs but we never had a reason to move them down to the basement. Well, now we do =) We decided it's time to turn this exercise room into a baby room.
We bought all of our nursery furniture at 24 weeks but unfortunately, they’ve been sitting in the garage for almost a month due to my husband’s busy travel schedule. One Saturday, we decided to put the furniture together before painting the room. We ended up with Sherwin-Williams Sand Trap color for the nursery. Sand trap is a neutral and warm color that provides an inviting, relaxing and cozy feel. It also serves as a neutral canvas for my furnishing and decor. Neutral colors are shades that coordinate well with almost any other color.
The little one had a blast helping us putting the furniture together. Please excuse her messy hair and her wrinkly PJ's. We were just having fun! After 2 months of working on the nursery, my husband and I are so happy with the way it turned out. I know these photos tell a different story. We are adding some final touches to the nursery. Hopefully, I'll be able to do a nursery reveal post in the very near future.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
