Today marks the beginning of my third week postpartum and I feel like myself again. The recovery was rough but I am feeling better every day. I am constantly pumping, nursing, doing laundry and changing baby M all day long. Sometimes, I feel like my body is about to shut down. At other times, I look at her precious face and can't imagine life could get much more perfect. Research shows 1 out of every 8 women has postpartum depression. While I am not depressed by any means, I do try my best to keep my spirits up. It's one of the reasons I want to get back into blogging. Getting back into doing things that you love is the best way to keep your mind on the right track.
What I am wearing:
Trench: Polka dot trench c/o OASAP - size small
Necklace: c/o JewelIQ
A trend that continues to be popular this Fall is polka dots. My closet is slowly but surely being invaded by polka dots. I hope you all enjoy the cooler weather as much as I do. I wore this outfit on my walk this morning (minus the shoes, of course) and this jacket is the perfect piece to keep me warm without overheating.

You look fabulous!
You look great! I can't believe you just had a baby :)
Can't believe you had baby E 3 weeks ago. Where is the baby belly? You are so lucky to lose all the baby weight right after you gave birth and fit right into your regula outfits! What is your secret to stay skinny/fit? :)
Post partum? More like...no partum. You look beautiful. Where is your post partum belly?

you look FANTASTIC! you are an inspiration for women's post-baby bodies!
You look great, Sydney! Those shoes are especially amazing. :)
Everything you described sounds like what I see my sister-in-law go through. I never knew how much pumping was involved! Ouch!
Greetings, Sydney! :) You look truly beautiful here. Absolutely love the pumps and think the polka dot trench is lovely. I am not usually into any sort of ripped jeans, but these cropped jeans are very nice to go with the gorgeous pumps.

You look lovely Sydney! Cant believe its already 3 weeks and you look like your old self already! thats amazing. Hope the older sister is having fun with the little one. The first 2-3 months are hard. You are going through baby blues which is perfectly normal. The lack of sleep and exhaustion is the main reason.
you look so fantastic! your daily routine is a long arduous one (i found pumping to be such hard work!) but so rewarding beyond words.
the trench is adorable, as is the outfit you wore. xox P

I'm so glad to hear you feel yourself again! And great that you can use blogging as an outlet because certainly you need it. You're totally right when you describe that 1st few weeks is just one thing to the next, but you certainly look great! I'm so jealous :D

aw you look so good!!!!! I dont think I look that good after giving birth. I think the first couple weeks after giving birth is the hardest to adjust back to daily schedule. I was actually really happy to go back to work bc i was able to dress up and put make up on again :D
