Review: Tahari Sarina Pump (budget-friendly version of the Valentino rockstud pump)

After trying on these super gorgeous Valentino rockstud slingback last week in Chicago, I couldn't get them out of my head. At first, I wasn't sure about these, but they definitely grew on me!. After seeing them in person, I can totally see why they become so popular. As much as I want to pull the trigger, I am just not ready to spend $1K on a pair of shoes yet. I adore them so much that I've been searching high and low for a good alternative. I am looking for a similar style with decent quality and not a knock off version. I am thrilled to have found these Tahari Sarina pump. They look very similar to the Valentino Rockstud (minus the studs). Online reviews are nothing short of wonderful. I'm happy to report that I loved these shoes the minute I put them on.

Quick review:
- Super comfortable with a nice 3½" heel
- 100% leather upper which is a must for me
- These shoes run narrow. If you have wide feet, you may want to try them on for a longer period of time to make sure they don’t cut your feet.
- If you’re are in between sizes like me (6.5 – 7), please size up
- They do not pinch anywhere and I do not need to break them in.
- Non-studded = work-appropriate

I am so glad to have found these. I am still dying to own the Valentinos one day but for now, I sure do enjoy this budget-friendly version. I might add some studs later if I feel inspired.

Can't wait to see them on! I am like you, I like inspired styles but not complete knock offs.

Great find! I like how the Tahari pumps don't have studs. They'll be more versatile and you'll still want to wear them once the studded trend fades.

These are a great alternative to the Valentinos. I love the Valentinos, but like you said, not ready to drop 1K on them yet, especially since they aren't as office friendly as the Taharis and won't get as much wear out of them. I cant wait to see how you wear these!

These are a great find! I finally broke down and snagged a pair of the Valentinos in the full blush version rather than the black and nude. I've actually worn them to work and they are surprisingly appropriate (even given my conservative workplace) given the right outfit.

I have a pair of these in the mint color. So cute!
Have not yet to wear them out anywhere, but they seemed comfortable in the store. Oh, got them in store on clearance for half the price too.

Love Valentinos! SoleSociety had a pair of heels a while back that were almost the same, studs and all! I'm kicking myself for not getting them!

Hey Sydney!

Great alternative...and how awesome they can be worn for work.

Catching up on your old posts...you really pull off "poofy" skirts well...the newspaper print one (love the entire outfit) and the latest one in your Chicago trip.

@MamaMia Thanks for the heads up. I didn't get to check out the clearance section while I was in there. The mint sounds perfect for Spring.
