I went to the Bachelor audition

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is open to the public today. I don't have a card so today is the first day that I can shop. However, to be completely honest with you, I am tired of hearing about the sale. I understand that this a great opportunity for shoppers to save and for bloggers to earn commissions but seeing my reading feed filled with #NSale is kind of ruined me. I acquired a few items last Fall and am happy with what I currently have in my closet for the upcoming season. Therefore, I won't be shopping the sale and will spare you "my picks".

On an unrelated note, I wanted to share something a little different today. You might or might not know I am the biggest fan of the Bachelor(ette) show. I've been watching the show for years and years. My husband is also hooked on it (shhh!). It's our guilty pleasure. We usually wait until the kids go to bed to watch the show on Monday nights. Anyway, they had an audition in my city last weekend and a couple of my girlfriends and I decided to go check it out. BTW, none of us were interested in joining the show. We were there purely for entertainment purposes.

The audition was held at a very casual restaurant near downtown Columbus. We were afraid that everything was going happen in a private area but that wasn't the case. We arrived early and got a table that was very close to the audition area. So basically, the girls came in and got the application from one of the crew members. I really wanted to see what the application looks like but was too chicken to come up and ask for one (looked like a serious set of questions). Took them about 30-45 minutes to finish. After the application is done, they had their pictures taken. If the crew members like that they see, the contestant will now earn a one-on-one interview (which happened about two feet from where we sat). It was pretty hilarious trying to listen to their conversations. As far as what they wore to the audition, some were cute and some were definitely questionable. We had a great time and some good laughs. I am curious to see if any of them will make it to the show. It was hot that day so I wore this trapeze dress. I like the print but the quality of the dress is questionable. If you're watching this season, who are you rooting for? Hope you enjoy a little insight and have a wonderful weekend.

THANKS for not sharing your N picks :). It wasn't this bad before. Maybe a few bloggers posted about it, but now EVERY one does. I don't even bother reading them.

Cool that you got to be at the Bachelorette auditions!
