Petite-Friendly Brand: French Connection Racy Dress

After seeing ReallyPetite in her lovely French Connection dress, I have been craving for one since then. Before heading out to Vegas, I was searching for store locations and yes! there is an outlet store in Vegas. When I first walked in the store, my impression was everything looks kind of tiny. After browsing the store for 30 minutes, below is what I ended up with (please excuse my tan lines, too much swimming pool this summer). Click here to read more

The dress is super cute and tiny. I got this dress in size 0 and couldn’t ask for a better fit. It fits me like a gloves. The dress has ric rac trimmed bandeau along the bust line, waist line and also the bottom of the dress. It also has an exposed zipper in the back. It is available in 2 colors: deep purple with silver trim (as stock photo) and ivory with blue trim. I decided to go with the ivory for a summer look

This dress can be paired with a cardigan or blazer for work. It also can be worn by itself as a sundress. I am very happy with my purchase. Their fit is true to size and their style is to die for. I will definitely keep that in mind for future shopping.

An interesting fact I’d like to point out is that if you shop at, read item descriptions carefully. It will tell you if this item fits true to size or it needs to go up a size. I think it’s pretty cool and very considerate for them to do that so consumer knows exactly what size to order.

Dress: FCUK Racy in 0 (sold here)

Sorry for lacking of outfit postings lately. I just realized I didn't have any casual outfits for my lookbook so here it is, my newest find from H&M. Black and white is my favorite combination to wear at all times. The combination creates a classic look but chic and elegant at the same time.

Fourth of July Weekend

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. As mentioned in the previous post, hubby and I spent our holiday weekend in Las Vegas. It was my first time visiting Vegas so you can image how excited I was. Traveling was a little hectic since we were trying to squeeze our vacation into a 3-days weekend. We left home around 6:30pm on Friday and didn't get to Vegas until mid-night which was 3:00 a.m. local time. We woke up the next morning and had breakfast at the Paris Hotel. After breakfast, we went sightseeing at the Bellagio, the Planet Hollywood and some other amazing hotels.

What I am wearing:
Sundress: F21 (This dress can also be worn as swimsuit cover)
Sandals: Steve Madden (similar here)
Wristlet: Express (sold here)
Sunnies: Gucci 1798 NS (similar here)
