Review: Articles of Society Mya Skinny jeans

I rarely wear jeans but am always on the lookout for a good pair. A few months ago, I bought these J.Brand 901 skinnies and have been wearing them repeatedly on the weekend. I’d love to own a few different shades but the price tag isn't exactly wallet-friendly. If you're a long time follower of this blog, you'll know I always tend to look for affordable options when it comes to shopping. Back in June, Articles of Society (AOS) has introduced me to their denim collection. The thought of wearing jeans in 90-degree weather making me sweat. I am glad that it's finally cool enough to take these jeans out for a spin.

I am wearing the Mya skinny in this post. Fabric contains 78% cotton, 20% polyester % spandex. They feel very comfortable and stretchy. When I first tried them on, I noticed how soft they are against my skin. I made sure to wear them for the entire day so I can really test them out. They didn't stretch out or loose their shape during a full-day of wearing.

What I am wearing:
Bottom: AOS Mya skinnies in light wash - size 25
Tee: Forever 21 - size L (love it so much!)
Blazer: Ann Taylor strip jacket - size 00P

I did take my usual size of 25 in these and they definitely run true to size in comparison to my J.Brand ones. AOS denim starts from size 23 to size 32. This is actually my very first pair of light denim. I don’t own anything in this wash previously. Personally, I don’t think it’s as versatile as the dark wash but it’s always good to have variety in your closet. I must say this wash is perfect for this time of the year. The minimal pocket design is always a plus. I love the mid-rise. It gives a good coverage all around and is flattering for all body types.

Wearing: Top: Anthropologie Lace Peplum Blouse, Bottom: Mya skinnies in blackout, Clutch: Kate Spade (buy this year's version)

Measurements for a size 25 as follows: Waist (laying flat) = 13″ Rise = 8″ Inseam = 32″ Leg opening = 4.75″. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a really soft, comfortable jean that’s super skinny and flattering at the same time. The super light wash I am wearing here is from the Spring 2013 collection and the blackout wash is from the Fall 2013 collection. You can shop the entire line here.

For people who are going to be adding one thing to their prom gown, there are several great approaches you are able to do this. You can use sequence along with other additions like it, by way of example. You are able to really transform the search of your respective prom gown by including extra cloth to it, such as around the waist and even round the neckline. You can try to find some eclectic patterns online or discover a stylish dressmaker which you really like and mimic your costume design right after theirs. There are many ways that you'll be able to complete this. Most of whatever you ought to make this happen is located at your local material store or even a craft source keep.
