Now that the girls have gotten order, we've been doing more weekend trips. We took an 8-hour road trip last month and two 4-hour trips this month to visit family members for the holidays. For the most part, my kids travel well. When doing a road trip, it's best to use soft-sided bags like travel totes or duffer bags to maximize your trunk space. This Vera Bradley traveler tote is perfect for a weekend getaway.

I am not necessarily a fan of the Vera Bradley patterns but completely in love with the quilted version. This tote is extremely roomy. I was able to fit all of the girls' essentials for the weekend into this tote. It's lightweight and has 6 compartments for small items (which is always useful). The handles are long enough to use comfortably as a shoulder bag which makes walking with the girls to a rest area much easier. Of course, the large front pocket is great for easy access to my phone.

This is a nice travel bag- I can't even tell it's Vera Bradley (I'm not a fan of those crazy prints either...)! I love hearing how you use it to trek your girls' items (I'd love to do that one day... I always wanted two little girls!). It looks wicked roomy!
