Happy Friday! I haven't been able to take outfit photos this week so I thought I'd share some snippets from my holiday weekend today. I kicked off the long weekend by going to the Asian Festival with a few friends. I love fair food (especially Asian fair food). Teriyaki chicken on a stick, anyone? The weather was absolutely gorgeous. This maxi dress was perfect for the occasion.

Early Sunday morning, we headed to the Great Wolf Lodge with the girls for a quick getaway. I wore this outfit on the way there. I love that fact that both of my kids are at the age that they play for hours until they crash. There are 2 locations in Ohio. I've been to both and personal prefer the one in Mason. The room was spacious and well appointed. This location's layout of the water park makes a lot more sense (the kiddie area is right in the middle of everything else). Love the wave pool and the warming pool. The warming pool temperature is suitable for younger children. I really enjoyed the fact that you don't have to carry any money or room key around with you. Your wristband acts as a room key. You can also use it to charge your meals and other items to your room. The Mason location also has a Starbucks on site (very important!)

The Sandusky location is a tad bigger but the layout is not very kid-friendly (the kiddie area at one end and all slides are at the other end). We did take a pack and play for the little one to sleep in. She got so tired that she couldn't even be a brat when it was time to go to bed =) For those who have never been to the Great Wolf Lodge, I highly recommend if you have kids. They offer nightly story time for younger kids as well as many activities for older kids. The reason we kept coming back because there truly is something for everyone. We spent the night there and headed back home on Monday. I am glad the weekend is here once again. Have a great one!
