Test Drive :: Mom Jeans

Taking the day off because I am physical (and mentally) exhausted. I've been working for 12 days straight without a break. My big project just went live yesterday and I can finally breathe =) I haven't taken blog photos in what seems like forever so I am sharing an old outfit today. My husband took these photos while we were in New York last month. I love the mom jeans trend but it's not easy to pull it off when you're short. I found this affordable pair at Target and decided to give it a try. They're great! These jeans are high-waisted (which I prefer). They're a bit baggy but still give me a good fit overall. If you want to test the trend but don't want to spend lots of money, give this pair a try. I am looking into getting a pair of Levi's mom jeans next. If you have a favorite, let me know. Pairing with my new teddy jacket. This was a splurge for me as I prefer affordable clothing. Glad I got it because this color is currently sold out but the pink is still available. Zara items sell out so quickly. It's incredibly soft and I get compliments every time I wear it. My plans for today? Getting my hair/nails done, getting stuff ready for the holiday (I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week and we have family coming to town) then going out for a drink with a few friends tonight.
