Review :: Spanx faux leather leggings
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is open to everyone today. As mentioned in this post, I never go crazy about the sale. If you're looking to add a few closet staples to your Fall wardrobe, this is a great opportunity. However, I've been shopping the sale for many years and have built a solid foundation for my Fall wardrobe. There is nothing I really need this year (especially when I am spending the majority of my time at home). Plus, I am still wearing the pieces that I have purchased over the years from the #Nsale. These Spanx leggings are one of them. I wanted to do a quick review just in case you're looking to purchase. They're not your typically black leggings. If you're looking for a pair of basic/everyday leggings, go with the Zella live-in high waisted leggings. They are normally $98. You can get them now for $65. This is the fancier version of your typically black leggings. They are easy to style and great for many occasions. To create a sporty chic look, wear them with your muscle tee + a pair of trainers and you're good to go. Pair them with an oversized sweater + a pair of booties and you're ready for Fall activities. Pair them with a camisole + a black blazer + a pair of high heels and you got yourself a killer date night outfit. I mean the options are endless. These leggings are so comfortable to wear. I know they look a bit shiny in photos (since I was under direct sunlight) but they appear matte in person. They are made with the magic of Spanx to help you look and feel good. These are high-waisted and suck you in like a dream. I feel so secure wearing them. I am 5'2", 105 lbs and I took a size XS. The waist fits me perfectly but they are a bit long for my short legs. I wish I had purchased the petite version (26" inseam). Not a deal breaker. I still love them very much and can't wait to bring them out again when the weather gets cooler. Outfit details: Spanx faux leather leggings *size XS* | Zara top | Amazon sunglasses *a great Celine dupe* | Adidas Cloudfoam sneakers
