Vacation Recap (Part III): Eat & Play

There is no doubt that the amount of food on cruise ships is ridiculous and generally available 24/7. You can eat as much as you want, as often as you want, as many times as you want while you’re on a cruise. I am not a breakfast person but I had breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between while on a cruise. I am surprised that I didn’t gain weight despite the fact of how much food I have consumed that week. The food was great but it wasn’t anything to die for. A couple of nights, we decided to pay $14.95 to “upgrade” our meals.

We didn’t get to do a lot of water activities since everything has age restrictions. Six is the minimum age for most of the water activities. Little one is one month shy of 6 years old. We spent most of our time on the beach since we didn’t want her to feel left out.

Hubby made it to the top, I only made it about two-thirds of the way up and litte one, well didn't made it very far :)

This post completes my vacation series. I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I truly enjoyed the time I had with my loved ones. We’re looking forward to our next trip. Thank you for reliving my vacation with me :)

Have a great weekend,
Sydney

Mmmmm the food looks DELICIOUS. That has got to be the best part about cruises :) Rock climbing looks like so much fun too. I always see similar walls at my local sporting goods stores, but never had the guts to try it out. I really should one day!

@Angie Angie, I didn't know you lived in Toledo for 10 years. That's pretty cool! I live in Westerville which is a cute suburb of Columbus (only 10 miles away).

Yum! The food looks so good! Will you be taking another cruise once your little one is a tad older? She'll be able to do most activities then!

We would love to go on a cruise once Baby Girl is a little older. Maybe age 2 or so?

The endless amount of food is my favorite thing about a cruise. :) This might sound silly but... what I especially love is the 24/7 soft-serve ice cream machine!

Now I want to go on vacation, too!

I love it when they fold the towels into something. What a special treat when you enter the room.

Your trip looked really fun!! You're lucky you didn't gain weight eating 24/7, you must have burned the calories while wall-climbing! :)
