30 for 30 Challenge Recap: Week 4

The 30 for 30 challenge has finally come to an end. I decided to end my challenge last Sunday. Technically, I only participated 28 out of 30 days. This was my first 30 for 30 challenge and I have to say it was a lot harder than I anticipated.

What I learned:
- I do not need to buy new clothes all the time to be stylish. With a few key items, I can remix my wardrobe over and over again and stay on budget.
- Don't be afraid to mix and match through trial and error and find the combination that looks the best. During this challenge, I forced myself to think of multiple ways I can wear an item.
- I'm happy to report I have stayed true to my shopping ban and didn’t buy a thing for the entire month of June
- Taking blog photos daily is really a pain. I admire those of you who blogs daily like Kileen.

What I accomplished:
- I’ve put together 28 outfits using 30 items in my closet with no repeats.
- By joining this challenge, not only I learned to be more creative with my style but I also paid close attention to how I look and feel in each outfit I choose.

All in all, it was a great challenge. Thank you so much for your comments on my previous outfit posts. I hope you’ll find some inspiration in them. Click here if you’re interested in seeing all my outfits for this challenge (outfit # 27 is here).

Yeah..congratulations, I love all of your remixing creativities. You did it!! It really is a great challenge that force us to use what we have instead of going out and buy all the time.

I am so fed up with my past shopping habit and those unworn clothes so I slow down on spending and try to use them.

congrats on getting this thing over with! lol!
i agree...it's hard to blog everyday. taking pics is not hard...the uploading, writing and linking is the most time consuming part.

Congrats on finishing! You did great Sydney. My favorite this week is day 23. Love the military-but-feminine look. The challenge ended just in time for your Chanel shopping spree ;)

Congrats! Congrats! Great job on finishing the challenge Sydney. I'm always in awe whenever I read over people's 30 day challenges. Even though you stopped at 28... still very VERY impressive not only by the outfits you put together but also by how you blogged everyday! It blows my mind how some people blog every single day. {*kudos!}

I'm sorry this is a super SUPER late reply but the camera I was using in a few of my posts was a Canon 5D mark II. It's actually my coworkers camera. He needed practice taking photos so I volunteered.

Congrats, Sydney! I can't imagine taking a photo of an outfit every single day. There's just so little time in the mornings, and you even have a "little one" to take care of. I enjoyed seeing you and Cee participate in this and push yourself to create new outfits with the old.

i have to admit, when I saw your tweet "I did it" I raced here thinking it was your Chanel reveal, hehe!

@PetiteAsianGirl hahaha, Jean! Sorry for misleading. I haven't received it yet but I will soon. Can't wait =)
