Weekend Fun: Boston Weekend Trip

As some of you may already know, I flew out to Boston for the blogger meetup this weekend and to spend some time with Jean. I was extremely excited for this trip since I have never been to Boston. It's one of the cities that I'd love to visit. At the very last minute, I've learnt that Ping also flew in for the meetup. It was such a pleasant surprise.

One of my coworkers has talked to me about Hurricane Irene before I leave. I was going to change my flight but decided not to as I didn't take that seriously. To make it short, the airline cancelled my flight not once but twice due to the hurricane. I had no choice but to fly home the very next day. I am glad Ping and I made it home safe and sound!

{Meeting up with everyone on Friday night}

I was in Boston for less than 24 hours. Even though I didn't get to see the city, I enjoyed every minute of it. I had such a great time meeting up with everyone on Friday. A special thank to Jean for having me, to Ping for keeping me company and to Vicky for taking me to the airport. I had a blast and hope to be back soon. I didn't want to drag out the Nikon camera with me. Here are some grainy photos from my trip taken with the point-and-shoot camera.

Sydney, I'm glad you made it home unscathed. :)
Thank you for sharing the pictures. The point-and-shoot camera served you well.
When I was driving to the curb picking you girls up, Nick was taking the pictures of the three of you. I only saw you all from behind, and thought "wow, these are very pretty, and stylish girls!" You all look fantastic!
Did the red shoes work out?

Your point-and-shoot certainly did serve you well! I love these photos and will certainly be saving some of them. Thanks so much for taking the time to come visit. You are such a sweetheart and it was my pleasure having you! You must come back (with the fam) for more than 20 hours next time : )

@Vicky Aww, Vicky! Thank you so much for braving the traffic and taking me to the airport. I miss you already. Yes, the shoes fit me perfectly. Can't wait to wear them!

@PetiteAsianGirl I was so sad that I had to leave early. Thank you so much for taking care of me when I was there.

I'm glad you made it home alright (saw your tweets), especially with a stop in DC. I was so surprised both airports were still open.
