Hot Pink and Tweed

I am head over heels in love with this outfit. J.Crew is definitely killing it with all their new stuff and I am loving every single thing I saw in their catalog. Unfortunately, those particular pieces were clearly out of my price range. I decided to take the plunge and find ways to recreate this outfit using items that I already have in my closet.

J.Crew's version:
Jacket: Confetti tweed jacket
Pants: Minnie pant in stretch twill
Shirt: Keeper chambray shirt
Purse: Edie purse
Shoes: Drea leopard patent peep-toe pumps

What I am wearing:
Jacket: AT chunky knit tweed jacket - size 0P (still available in 00P online)
Pants: MTTM via PLNDR.com - size 25
Shirt: Hollister *old* - size XS
Wedges: Merona Milena suede wedges

Since the jacket was pink, the version created by J.Crew looks a lot more feminine than mine. However, I am still liking the end result. Best of all, it’s so much more affordable than the J.Crew one. I actually have tried on the confetti tweed jacket (see it on me here) and the fit was very boxy on me. I hope you enjoy this outfit. It’s been a long week and I am so ready for the weekend. On an unrelated note, who’s shopping the Marni collection at H&M today?

Really cool outfit, Sydney! These jeans really pack a punch color-wise. With the shirt and wedge pumps, it is even more a chic outfit. You look great!

I like your outfit a lot more. J.Crew's marketing is superb, but orange jeans are way too loud. I personally do not know anyone who would wear orange, besides a collegiate sweater/tee.

I like it! It's more casual than J. Crew's version, but I think the main difference is that you went with brighter colors.
