Feminine meets Masculine

I absolutely love this time of year - flowers are blooming, breezy beautiful weather, everything feels new and fresh. Personally, I think spring allows a lot more options for playing with your personal style. I absolute adore this H&M floral dress I picked up a few weeks ago (still available in-store). This is one of my favorite recent purchases and I'm sure it'll become my go- to spring/summer dress.

What I am wearing:
Dress: H&M - size 2
Jacket: Jack by BB Dakota Shelton - size S (buy similar)
Shoes: Report via TJMaxx (buy similar)
Belt: H&M (buy similar)
Necklace: Amrita Singh Montauk
Lipstick: Revlon ColorBurst in Lollipop

In this outfit, I paired a military jacket with an ultra-feminine dress to balance out the respective masculine and feminine qualities of each piece. This jacket is not only great for when it is a little breezy outside but also adds a bit of edginess to any outfit.

Happy Monday!
Sydney

I love that dress. I saw them in store -- great quality -- but not in my size :(. Oh well! Love that you paired it with a tough jacket! I'm inspired to have more fun with clothes this Spring!

What a great dress! I do like the military jacket too. It makes the dress more casual when you just want to dress and relax.

I can't wait for a H&M to open up in Houston!

Not real fond of the boots, but the dress and belt are surely stylish. I'd say you did a great job of adding toughness to an otherwise feminine and girly outfit.

Sydney, you look amazing in this printed dress! I love how you added a pop of additional colour on your waist by adding the thin belt.

Btw, the maxi dress is still available at H&M! I just purchased it recently and saw it yesterday :) It's $19.95 and it's in the basic section

Saw this dress at H&M but passed because of the bold print. It look great on you though and love how you paired it with a personal touch! How do you find cute shoes at TJMaxx?! I love window shopping there but can never find anything =/
