This week's decorating with me post features a corner of the little one's bedroom. Since two sides of her room have windows, we thought it would be cool to have a hanging swing in that corner. It would make a great reading nook. We asked the builder to put in an extra beam to support the swing. That was an easy part. The hard part was looking for an actual swing. This is what we had in mind but let's be real, who would spend that much money on a swing? I've been scouting the Internet for months looking for an alternative. Below are the 6 possible options. Which one is your favorite and why? BTW, we let her pick out her room's paint color and she decided on 6821 Potentially Purple by Sherwin Williams =)

My favourite is the lime green one as it looks the most comfortable, however I would swap them for a more neutral colour cushion.

I like bottom left because the grey would go lovely with the purple. She picked a great color!
My faves are also the lime greens they would perfect match with the office which I recently got for a test at work :)

Is C a reader? Because I think a comfortable swing would be the perfect spot to curl up with a good book (or nowadays, Kindle/iPad). I'll vote for the one where the swing is transparent enough to let in natural light from the windows.
I love the middle bottom swing! I like that it hangs from the ceiling and is nice and minimal. It would fit perfectly without overtaking the room. Can't wait to see how everything turns out!

How fun! I think I prefer one of the free standing ones though, for ease of moving furniture around and rearranging the room. The bottom right one is my pick.
