I recently realize that I do not own a black pencil skirt. It's funny how we always look for interesting details in clothing and sometimes forget about the basics. A black pencil skirt is for sure on my purchase list this Fall. Then I saw this dress hanging in my closet, it sparked my interested. My formal dresses definitely do not get enough wear. I really loved the dress when I first got it but only got to wear once to twice. The fit was amazing. Pairing it with a boxy top, this dress works like a charm as a skirt =)

I find myself doing the same thing, Syd. I utilize whatever's in my closet to make a whole "new" outfit when I lack what I "need." You are as lovely as ever!

I'm like that too! I sometimes pay too much attention to the details that I forget to buy the essentials. But you look amazing! And speaking of, I still need to buy a really good black pencil skirt!
