Wrapping up the work week with a look I wore a few days ago. While this outfit seems pretty basic, the fabric is what makes the top and the skirt unique. Orbitz Industry recently reached out and offered a couple of pieces for me to try. I did a little research and feel intrigued. Ortiz Industry is a contemporary fashion brand specializing in fabrics that are beautiful and highly functional with a level of technology not found in most apparel.
What I am wearing:
Top: c/o Ortiz Industry (size XS)
Skirt: c/o Ortiz Industry (hemmed - size XS)
Sunglasses: ZeroUV
Shoes: Ann Taylor pumps
Watch: Michael Kors
Both items are part of their "Responsive" collection. The fabric is designed to respond to external changes by adding such benefits as UV protection, stain resistant, anti-bacterial and stretch. This top is insanely comfortable to wear and available in 5 different colors. However, between the two, I am more excited about the skirt. It's rather unique. Other than the fact that it has all the benefits the collection has to offer, this skirt also has a build-in spandex slip to help eliminates lumps and bumps underneath. Since I am on the shorter side (5'2"), I did have to have it hemmed about 2 inches above my knees.
