Summer Vacation Haul 2016

I've never done a haul on my blog before. To be honest, I don't buy clothes on a regular basis. I can't remember the last time I actually went out and purchased new clothes. My husband and I are taking the girls on a beach vacation soon so I've been shopping here and there. Since there will be tons of sales this weekend, I decided to skip this week's handbag chit chat to show you what I purchased for the trip just in case you want to take advantages of the holiday weekend sales. I didn't have time to photograph them yet but hopefully, you'll be able to see them on the blog in the next few weeks.

The most exciting things I've bought were the 2 bathing suits. Let's just say that shopping for the perfect bathing suit is a serious struggle for me (who is flat chested, still can't get rid of the baby pouch and petite) LOL. After months of searching (I am not even extravagant), I finally found 2 that I am so in love with. The first one is from Becca. I seriously love this one-piece. It's very flattering and fits me perfectly. The straps are adjustable which is always a bonus. It supports me in all the right places and I feel amazing in it. I had the hardest time deciding on the color but ultimately went with the burgundy (love the white as well). The second set is from 6 Shore Road. I love the funky print and the unique style. However, the top has no padding. My Mom did sew these bra cups into place for me. I highly recommend both. I did spend more than what I wanted on those swimsuits but the rest of my haul is pretty affordable. The Old Navy rompers are really nice in person. They do run smaller than expected. I was going to order the petite version online but decided to try on the XS regular in store and it fits perfectly. You can dress it up with a pair of black heels or dress it down with a pair of flat sandals. This striped dress is one of those easy summer dresses (I got it in red). Can't go on a beach vacation without packing a white maxi dress right? This Forever 21 dress is from their contemporary line. I ordered an XS and it fits just fine. Again, so easy and comfy to wear. The straps are adjustable and the dress is not see through. I also ordered this straw hat to keep my face out of the sun. Both pairs of shoes from Banana Republic haven't arrived yet. I will keep you posted on the fit. Last but not least is this striped dress from WHBM. The length is long on me (as expected) but the cut is very flattering. It needs about 6 inches or more cut off but other than that, I love it. I hope you find this post helpful. Wishing you a happy and safe Fourth of July!
