My first experience with Rent The Runway

RentTheRunway_SydneysFashionDiary

A few weeks ago, I made a quick trip to San Francisco to attend my cousin's wedding. The wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Dominic's Catholic Church. I have combed through my closet and there was nothing formal enough for the reception. I didn't want to purchase something that I know I'll probably never wear again either. I decided to give Rent The Runway a try. There are so many options to choose from. It took me awhile to narrow it down and I ended up renting this gorgeous sequin dress for the night. The process was pretty seamless. The dress arrived on my doorstep as scheduled (I chose a 4-day rental). After the reception, I put the dress back in the bag and dropped it off at a UPS location. The return label is included in the original shipment. I got so many compliments that night and felt great in it. Christmas and New Year are just around the corner. If you don't want to spend money on something you'll only wear once or twice, I highly recommend Rent The Runway.  This would be the perfect dress for NYE. RTR offers 30% orders $50 or more with code GT2016, I had a great experience and would 100% do it again. It looks gorgeous on you! Rent the Runway is my go-to for any event, I just don't see the point in buying dresses I know I will never wear again :)

I've been on RTR's site so many times but never pulled the trigger. The dresses always seem more expensive than is reasonable. 30% off would help. I typically just buy something pre-owned. I have no problem wearing dresses multiple times, in general. I don't think anyone around me would know or care!
