Saint Laurent Sunset Bag Review + What Fits

SaintLaurentSunsetBag_SydneysFashionDiary

Today, I have a handbag review for you. I purchased this Saint Laurent Sunset bag last October and have been using it quite a bit. After owning for over 6 months, I think I can give you a pretty good review just in case you're thinking about purchasing one. The small (which I have here) measures 7.5" (L) x 5" (H) x 3.5" (D) x 22" (Drop). Let's start with the pros:

- Leather: I said it before in one of my handbag reviews that their textured calf skin leather is incredibly durable and almost scratch-free. This bag requires little to no maintenance and is perfect for someone who's always on the go.
- Color: I love the burgundy color. It's perfect for Fall/Winter but also can also be used year round.
- The shoulder strap: Being on the shorter side, finding the right strap length is not always easy. This bag hits at just the right spot when worn as a cross-body or on my shoulder. The leather portion of the strap makes it really comfortable to wear as well. The updated version has a removable shoulder strap which is a nice option.

- Interior: The bag features a soft, suede-line interior. It has 3 internal compartments which is great for organization. I keep my phone in the front pocket for easy access (check out a short video clip below)

Now onto the cons: I only have one complaint but it's kind of a big one - this bag holds very little. Since the bag is extremely structured, there is not much wiggle room. It holds the same amount of stuff that would fit inside my Chanel WOC. The size is definitely deceiving and it's something that I wouldn't know until I start using it. To me, this bag is an absolute beauty and I love the fact that it's underrated on social media. However, there is something to think about when it comes to practicalities
