A simple winter outfit

I like to call this outfit my winter uniform. I purchased these high-waisted denim last September and have been wearing them non-stop. They fit amazingly well. Black jeans tend to look more formal than lighter shades. This particular pair comes in a variety of inseam lengths. I picked up this light-weight sweater a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it as well. It's available in 7 colors. Even though it's cold outside, I don't necessarily want to put on a thick sweater. I prefer to dress in layers. This sweater is slightly oversized but not baggy. I can easily layer a button down shirt underneath for a more polished look. It's thin enough to tuck in a pencil skirt but still provides plenty of warmth. I love the lace detailing on top of the neckline. It adds a touch of femininity to a rather plain sweater. Last but not least is my trusty puffer coat. I have it for over 3 years and still love it to pieces. I know Burberry coats can be expensive but they do last for years.
