SOREL Joan of Arctic boots review

Last week, we got hit with the first snowstorm of the season. Living in a cold climate, I always appreciate a pair of well made snow boots. Last year, I wanted to invest in a pair of heavy-duty snow boots and these seemed like a fantastic option. I brought them on my trip to Banff and I can honestly say they're worth every penny. They are practical yet so stylish looking. They come in several different color combinations. I went with the grey/black colorway. We went hiking in Banff and sank deep in the snow but my toes stayed toasty the entire time. I wore a pair of wool socks underneath. The traction is amazing. I didn't have those ice cleats on the first day and I was fine. There were some icy areas on the trail and people skidded left and right. They were a bit stiff at first but took no time to break in. I felt like they run pretty true to size. I took my usual size 7 and there is a bit of room for thick socks and my toes aren't squished together. Overall, they're rugged yet so comfortable. I can't rave enough about these boots. If you're in the market for a pair of heavy duty snow boots, I totally recommend them. They are a good investment especially for those who live where it snows a lot. They are high quality and will last you for years to come.
