February goals:
- Learn something new: I went ice skating for the first time last month. I thought I'd have no problem transitioning from skiing to ice-skating. Boy, was I wrong. I had a difficult time balancing myself. It was fun regardless. Hopefully, I'll do better next time.
- Finalize our summer vacation: Our trip to Aruba is booked! The kids can't wait to see the flamingos in person. We will be staying at the Renaissance hotel. I am thrilled to find out that there is a Starbucks on site and the Renaissance mall next to the hotel (what??)

- Re-paint Madelyn's bedroom: Unfortunately, we didn't have time to get this done. My husband traveled quite a bit for work in February. I am not sure whether or not we have time to get it done this month
- Achieve a financial goal: We achieved a financial goal that we set out and I am very proud of it. I shared a few financial tips here if you're interested.
- February purchases: I spent $30 on a few cheap and cheerful pieces last month (the bodysuit in this post and 2 pairs of earrings). I wear stud earrings everyday so I picked up 2 fun pairs to spice up my outfits. Basically, I spent $30 so far in 2019 =)

- File income tax: I always do our own taxes. My goal is to get it done this weekend
- Purge and organize my closet: My closet is an absolute mess at the moment =( I need to spend a few hours purging and organizing it.
- Finalize our Peru trip: My goal is to finish booking our trip to Peru by the end of this month. We already figured out all the details but I still need to make hotel reservations and purchase train tickets. I can't wait to share the details with you.
Looking forward to:
- Celebrate my Mom's birthday: We're celebrating my Mom's birthday this weekend. She'll be 64!
- Celebrate my husband's birthday: Hubby is also celebrating his birthday at the end of the month. I am still looking for fun ideas to celebrate his birthday.
- Spend time with the kids during spring break: Looking forward to warmer weather and spending times with my kids during spring break. Since we already have 3 trips planned this year, we're staying home for spring break
