Finding Fashion From Home

Finding Fashion From Home
With less opportunity to venture out and browse clothes stores, it can be hard to pick up on new trends. And with fashion shows currently more low-key, sometimes it’s hard to discover new styles. However, we all like to look and feel good. And sometimes giving our wardrobes an overhaul can be just the refresh we need. So, how do you find new fashion ideas, without leaving the house?

Follow fashion bloggers
Following the fashion bloggers you admire is the first way you can discover new fashion from the comfort of your home. However, there’re a lot of us out there, so it can be like looking for a needle in a clothes pile! Checking out the biggest, most well-known bloggers, could be a start. But they might not be quite your style. Magazines often compile lists of their favorites, so if you’ve got a preferred fashion magazine, see who they recommend. Once you’ve found one or two you like, you should find it easier to discover more. Check out fashion bloggers’ social media, as they’re bound to be part of a like-minded community.

Seek out new social media accounts
This leads nicely onto social media. And Instagram is a great place to find new styling tips, fashion brands and interesting trends. But more than that, you can connect with a fashion community that share your tastes and ideals. Once you’ve found one or two accounts you like, you can see who they follow and what hashtags they use. This will easily lead you towards more people who share your kind of style. Don’t forget to check what products are tagged in photos, to discover new brands.

Sign up to brand newsletters
Most fashion brands have a newsletter, to help you stay informed of new lines and designs. Signing up to these is a great way to check in on your favorite brands and get lots of special offers too. But it’s also a good way to spot trends and compare brands for price and quality.

Browse online catalogues
Browsing catalogues online is a great way to see a mix of styles and brands, all in one place. Great for a bit of window shopping, without leaving the house. Is scrolling through pictures of summer dresses as good as going to the stores? Possibly not, but it could be the next best thing.
