Instant Pot Recipe :: Vietnamese Yogurt

VietnameseYogurtInstantPot_SydneysFashionDiary
Sharing another yummy and easy recipe using my beloved instant pot - Vietnamese yogurt. See other instant pot recipes here. If you haven't tried Vietnamese yogurt, you are missing out. The texture is smooth and creamy. The taste is slightly sweet with a touch of delicate tartness. It's so good for those hot summer days. This is the only kind of yogurt I will eat.

Ingredients:

Directions:
  • Whisk the condensed milk and hot water together in a bowl
  • Whisk the Greek yogurt and whole milk in a separate bowl
  • Combine 2 bowls together
  • Strain the mixture though a mesh strainer to ensure that it's smooth
  • Pour the yogurt into glass jars - I love these 4 oz jars
  • Select Yogurt option on your instant pot. Change time to 9 hours. If you like a tarter yogurt, extend the incubation time to 10 hours. If you like a sweeter yogurt, reduce the incubation time to 8 hours. Do this overnight so that you'll have these yummy yogurt containers for breakfast =)

You meant 2 cups of whole milk?

No, I meant 2 cans of whole milk. Use the condensed milk can to measure.

Can I make the recipe straight in the pot, without the little jars?? Then transfer the yogurt to a container once it’s ready?

I have never tried that but I don't see why not?
