Sydney's Fashion Diary: What I got for my birthday 2020

Today's post is my annual what I got for my birthday! I always try to save up and get myself one big gift every year. This year is no exception. A week before my birthday, my family and I took a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains (will share soon). I considered that as my birthday trip. I expected nothing else but as always, friends and family have spoiled me. My husband knew I wanted this mixer for a long time. However, the price is kind of hard to swallow (even when it's on sale). I went back and forth for the longest time but at last, he got my dream mixer for my birthday. I can't wait to start my holiday baking. I also got some birthday money and gift cards from my in-laws and a friend. I was joking that I just turned 21 so my friend got me this card =)

I was debating whether I should share what I got in the VS bag but I think it would be helpful for some of you (especially if you're a runner). A few ladies from my running group chipped in and got me a gift card from VS. I spent it on these panties. I am typically not a fan of the brand. Their bras never fit me right but I love these panties for running. They are seamless, super comfy and I barely notice they're there. They are breathable, invisible even under leggings, don't ride up and stay put for intense exercise. I also picked up these cheeky panties when I need more coverage for that time of the month.

Now, onto the main gift I got myself this year - the wildly popular Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette. I filmed a little unboxing video for fun. If you're into luxury bags, you know this bag is one of the most sough-after items since debuting about a year ago. I know it's not for everyone. I wasn't sure at first but it's really growing on me. At first, it was kind of strange to see multiple bags string together but the design is very practical and definitely gives off the model of duty vibe. Is it a forever bag? No, not really but I enjoy having it at the moment. I own several classic bags and it's fun to enjoy something different and trendy. There you have it. Those are the things I got for my birthday this year. Material things are nice but there is nothing more important than having a loving partner, a wonderful family and caring friends. I know I am very blessed.
