What I got for my birthday/anniversary

Untitled {Outfit details: Dress | Chanel 19 bag}
I finally have a moment to sit down and share what I got for my birthday/anniversary this year. We've been extremely busy with Courtney's college application process, Madelyn's sports, work and everything else in between. I had so much fun celebrating my birthday last month. For our anniversary, my husband took me to one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus and we had an amazing time. I wanted to share what I got for the occasions because I love them so much. I went to a local Louis Vuitton with my girlfriends and spotted these beautiful sandals in my size!! I tried them on and couldn't believe how comfortable they are. I decided to treat myself =) They run true to size. I typically wear size 7 in women's shoes and got these in a 38. They fit perfectly. The canvas is very soft. No rubbing/digging.

For our anniversary, my husband got me this beautiful Van Cleef & Arpels Guilloche vintage Alhambra necklace. As you might remember, I have the same necklace in mother of pearl. While I like it, it's not something that can be worn 24/7. Mother of pearl is the softest stone to own. It scratches easily. You shouldn't wear it in the shower or while working out. It can turn yellow over time. I like no-fuss, wear-it-everyday kind of jewelry. I don't typically take my jewelry off when I come home from work. This necklace is something I can wear 24/7. The Guilloché pendant is extremely difficult to come by. It's rarely available online. If you're interested in this particular piece, send me an email. I will hook you up with my sales associate at South Coast Plaza. I picked the Guilloché version because it's stunning in person. Both my husband and I prefer silver jewelry but he couldn't stop saying how gorgeous it is and how much he loves it. It catches the light and sparkles like no other. Another year older, another year of incredible experiences. I am very grateful to have an abundance of wonderful people in my life. I am ready to enter a brand new year.
