Closet Remix: 01.17.2011

The weather is getting better in Ohio. Although, it is still freezing outside, the sun does come out and play. Today’s outfit consists of my absolute favorite pieces. This H&M camel skirt has become my work staple. My Mom hemmed it for me not too long ago. She took up about an inch. I think it looks so much better than the unaltered version. The J.Crew silk blouse was a recent purchase from the outlet. I got it last month despite the fact that it is way too big on me. The reason I bought it because I love the mixed prints so much. I was hoping that my Mom will be able to alter it somehow. She said it would be hard because of its side zipper. The looseness is not noticeable when tucked in. Of course I can’t get enough of my petite V-neck boyfriend cardigan. I took these pictures during my lunch break at work. Hence, minimal makeup and a dull face (Eekkkk!). Continue reading...

The colors are so masculine with a feminine fit! I love the way your cardigan fits, very wide so you can see that gorgeous top.

Oooo I am in love with the blouse! You look great Sydney! :)

That blouse pairs so well with the camel skirt! I wish H&M still carries that skirt (and that I can find it in a size 2), it seems like it would be so versatile for both work and even play. Agree with Kileen that I'm surprised you're bare-legged in snowy weather! I can't even do that here in SoCal in the current 60 deg weather!

That shirt is great!! So is everything else!

I love the print of that cami! And it pairs very nicely with your skirt - isn't it great to be able to have things hemmed without going to a tailor? I'm surprised to see you still have snow in Columbus - we had 70 degree (but windy) weather here in Cincy today.

Yay, the vibrant blouse you tweeted about! It looks great and i would never know it's big based off of these photos, if you didn't mention it. Are your legs cold bare?

You styled this outfit perfectly. All the colors complement each other so well. Not to mention the fit, good choice there!

what dull face? you still look gorgeous as always! I love the whole outfit, especially that tweed coat. What a great find! Was it at macy's juniors sections or adults? I never find petite-friendly coats at Macy's.

@kileen, @PetiteXXS, @Michelle, @PetiteAsianGirl I get used to the cold weather. If it’s higher than 40 degrees outside, it feels like spring time. It looks cold with all the snow on the ground but it wasn’t that bad. I am so jealous of your warm/sunny weather in SoCal and TX.

@olyvia This jacket is at least 4 years old. I got it at Macy’s juniors department. I believe they’re still carrying this brand. Definitely check it out!

I... LOVE this outfit. There's just the right accent of bold color, but overall neutral and great for the office. Love it. And you look gorgeous in it!

Loving everything about this outfit. Outfit works well with and without the coat. You're pretty crazy to brave the cold with bare legs for this pictures! I love the print on the top, it's quite unique. I noticed you didn't mention your necklace. Stunning. Green is one of my favorite colors.
