Vacation Recap (Part I): Where I visited...

I am slowly getting back into my usual routine and catching up with things. I am glad that we were able to take some time off and relax for a week. My vacation was filled with 7 days of indulgence. The original plan was to visit Puerto Rico. Well, something came up at the very last minute so we had to change our plan. We settled for a Bahamas cruise which was perfectly fine with me. The ship departed from Miami, FL then visited Nassau, Bahamas, Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas), Key West, FL and back to Miami, FL. Here are pictures of some places we visited:

We spent the last two days of our vacation visiting my brother-in-law who lives in Miami, FL. A big thank to him for being our tour guide, showing us places and taking us shopping (twice!). We wish we could spend more time with him. I enjoyed the visit so much especially the swimming pool where these pictures were taken. What did we do to look forward to after the vacation? Planning our next vacation. Yes, we already planned the next vacation with our big families. While it may seem far away, having something to look forward to helps us feel better about being back at work. In my opinion, having something planned motivates us to start saving for that next relaxing and exciting vacation getaway.

Have a great week,
-Sydney-

Are the first couple of pictures from Atlantis?! Bf and I have been trying to plan a vacation for forever (key word is trying), but we just can't agree on a place to go (ok, that and cuz we're super lazy). I've heard good stuff about cruises so we probably will give that a shot. I really want to go out of the country to somewhere beachy and Atlantis might be American enough for us lol. Thank you for sharing these gorgeous pictures!

Oh I could breathe in some of that nice summer air right now. I'm hearing the rain pour as I'm typing this and it's been raining for the last couple of days :( Such a bummer!!

Hope you had an amazing time and I'm looking forward to seeing more photos ;)

@Cee Yes, the first couple of pictures are from Atlantis! The resort is gorgeous! We booked the excursion to Atlantis and it certainly worth the money. With the package, you have access to all of the pools, aquarium and the beach. I have cruised many times in the past. Let me know if you have any questions :)

@Vicky We’re going to visit different parts of the Caribbean next time.

@SewPetiteGal I love cruise food too. I ate so much on the cruise. Food photos are coming soon..LOL

It must be a 7 day trip in paradise, Sydney. A great way to recharge your energy and spend time with family without having to cook or clean.

Bahamas and a cruise have been on my wishlist and will most likely stay on my list for a while. Since my family lives overseas, I pretty much have to save my vacation time for such long trip.

Ahh I've been to the Bahamas but it was a ong time ago! We didn't stay at the Atlantis but I did get to go in and take a look (we snuck in LOL!)

How did you like the cruise? My friend went on one in april and it took her 3 weeks to get over the motion sickness :(
