Online Boutique: ApartStyle.com

Continuing with the mission of finding new online boutiques to introduce to you guys, I am thrilled to do a little review on Seychelle Day Dress from ApartStyle.com. Debuting in September 2010, ApartStyle.com offers a wide variety of modern, effortlessly chic and totally unique styles.

You probably can guess why I chose this dress for my review. It has very different and gorgeous print. This dress is unlike anything I have in my closet. I’ve been looking for something like this for quite some time. This dress has a beautiful color combination of purples, blues, and earth tones. It features a high-banded waist silhouette for a better fit. It also has half sleeves (which is very hard to find). In my opinion, the dress is appropriate for work if styled correctly. The patterns also make it fun to wear on a night out.

I would say the fit of this dress is true to size. I typically wear a size 00. The dress I'm wearing in the post is the size 0. Therefore, it was a tad big on me. However, for this particular style, it’s supposed to be loose. A belt definitely helps with the fit and also adds a nice touch to this dress. The dress is made out of high-quality fabric. Most of their clothing is made from Europe. This particular one is made in Italy. I have inspected the dress and the craftsmanship is fantastic. There were absolutely no loose threads or uneven seams.

If I have to nitpick, it would be the cost. In my opinion, the cost of this dress is a bit much to be made with polyester. For this price, it should have been made of silk. All in all, I love this dress. It’s very versatile, chic and definitely unique. For the purpose of this review, I just wanted to wear it by itself. I am looking forward to remixing this dress for my challenge. For those of you who read my last post, this is my mystery item for the 30 for 30 challenge :)

What a cool print to use for a dress! But most of all, I love how you didn't shy away from pairing the bold print with other bold items -- green necklace and orange heels. It sounds like a lot going on in theory, but you made it work!

This dress is SO cute! I agree...for $178, it should be silk, not polyester! Love your blog and I'm definitely following! www.bravoerunway.com
