First up is the Corrine Platform Penny Loafers in 6.5 (small sizes are still available)
Specs: Leather uppers, man-made crepe soles and 3 3/4" heels
Like: I've been looking for something like this for a while since I don't have anything similar in my closet. I absolutely love the color. The fit is true to size and they're very comfortable. Crepe sole provides me the protection that I need.
Dislike: The material is very lovely but can be hard to clean.
Verdict: Keeping! See them on Vicky.
Next up is the Suede Caged Platform Pumps in 6.5
Specs: Leather uppers, leather soles and 4 1/3" heels
Like: The style is very elegant and unique. Again, the fit is true to size.
Dislike: They are a bit too high for my liking. The leather soles are extremely slick. I don't think I can walk in these with confidence and ease. Also, I currently own 4 pairs of black pumps. I certainly do not need another pair.
Verdict: I am undecided at the moment but more than likely, they're going back. I am trying to justify all my purchases (especially during the holiday season)
Lastly, the Pebble Leather Booties in 7
Specs: Leather uppers, leather soles and 3 3/4" heels
Like: The pebble leather is beautiful. Love the zip heels!
Dislike: Since my size wasn't available at the time, I ordered a half size bigger. The back of the shoe slips off my heel every time I take a step. Also, the heel collar sat right underneath my inner/outer ankle bone.
Verdict: They're going back
All in all, Talbots shoes are extremely beautiful and well-made. Most importantly, they fit true to size. I didn’t take any outfit photos for a whole week since the weather was so horrible. It’s hard to get up in the morning, let alone taking pictures. I don't know about you but I am ready for a long weekend!

I think all three are wonderful but I love the brick colored loafers, they look so vintage and chic!
The loafers are definitely the best. I'm still kicking myself for missing out on this deal. The rest have to go - the bottom is so slick I'd be very surprised if you won't at least lose your balance.
Excellent review. All three shoes are adorable, but the last pair are my favorite!

love the last pair!
Too bad the nude booties didn't work out. I love the shape and the dip in the front looks just right. But the soles look super smooth.
Shoe twins! ;)
The slippery sole can be easily fixed by using one of those anti-slip stick-on pads. works like wonders. It's a shame that the booties don't fit you well. They look so cute.
Hehehe after seeing Vicky's post on the penny loafers- I ordered them too! Hopefully I won't look stupid in them..LOL
And bummer about the booties! I got the same color and gray. I usually use the anti-slip pads on the bottom (like Vicky said) and yes it does work perfectly! :)
Just keep the first pair, but return the last two. The first pair looks perfect on you!
Such a bummer that the last pair did not work out!! Grr!! I love those loafer-heels on you and Vicky!!
You did an amazing job with your review post...it is very formulaic, not all mish-mashy!
Oh gosh...I am so ready for a long weekend!!
Love this post! Great pictures and write-up! I find it hard to shop for shoes online especially when the site doesn't show a model wearing them. I love the last pair -- wish they had your size :(
ohhh those penny loafer heels are ADORABLE on you!! i've been looking for penny loafer heels like that for awhile i may have to check out the talbots version!! thanks for showing us your shoe haul!!
Loved all the pairs you ordered and the nude booties are to die for! Sad it has to go back.
i love the last pair!
Love the first ones the most...loved them on Vicky as well!
Thank you for the review! I ordered some crepe sole shoes as well but they aren't schedule to arrive until next week - I also had some issues with my order. They all honestly look great on you!
