Petite Fashion Challenge # 17: Candy Colorized

I missed the last few PFCs due to my morning sickness. This month, I am determined to join the fun =) This month's PFC hosted by the talented Sew Petite Gal who I had the privilege to meet in person. She asked us to "Take a bowl full of colorful candies (M&Ms, Jolly Ranchers, jelly beans, etc.), close your eyes, and draw 2-3 pieces. Now use those colors (+ a neutral of your choosing) to form the basis for your ensemble". How fun is that!

PFC

I am still trying to divert myself away from the neutrals and add more colors and prints to my wardrobe. I have way too many neutral colors in my closet and would love to own more colorful pieces. Being pregnant, my clothing options are getting more and more limited. In order to complete this challenge, I cheated a little – I chose my outfit before the candy colors =) Of course, there is no peach-colored M&Ms so I just had to use the red color instead. I chose a pair of nude pumps as my neutral element to complete my look.

PFC # 17

At the moment, I have a serious craving for peanut butter M&M's. I don't think I have a sweet tooth but these are so good and highly addicting. I can probably eat half a big bag of these M&Ms in one sitting. I would so blame the pregnancy hormones for it! Other than that, I haven't really had any crazy cravings so far.

PFC # 17

What I am wearing:
Dress: c/o Lulus.com - size S (buy similar)
Jacket: H&M - size 2 (buy similar)
Necklace: Amrita Singh Montauk necklace
Shoes: Louboutin Ron Ron watersnake pumps
Sunglasses: Kate Spade Gayla

PFC # 17

I know this is not much of a challenge but I had so much fun putting this outfit together. There are so many participants this month. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. For more colorful outfits, please visit SewPetiteGal to see the rest of the entries.

Pretty! Love the pastel color of your dress, so delicate and sweet. I also love that you paired it with a denim jacket to give it a chic, day time look. :)

@Anonymous For something delicate like this dress, I usually hand wash and air dry (or you can use delicate or hand wash setting on the washing machine). Hope that helps!

You look so cute with that baby bump :) I noticed that your jacket had that detailing at the back and I was wondering if its the same jacket I picked up from H&M a couple of weeks ago (I didn't even check lol!)
