Today is D-day!

This is it, guys! Today is the day (thank you, scheduled c-section). This pregnancy goes so fast yet so slow. It would be an understatement to say that this pregnancy is tougher than the last one. The first part of the pregnancy was a breeze. Although, the second part was a different story. I was diagnosed around 27 weeks with placenta previa. There was all sorts of unexpected issues associated with it. It's been tough for me but I know it'll all be worth it in the end.

I would be lying if I told you I am not scared. I'm nervous, scared, but excited at the same time. I have so many mixed emotions running through my head right now. It's 5:00 in the morning and my little one (soon to be the bigger one) is wide awake and ready to go. My whole family is here with me as well. There is no doubt that I will be in good hands. We can't wait to welcome baby Madelyn to this world!

{Can't wait to add the newest member of our family to the back of the car}

I'd like to take a moment to thank my family (especially my mother) for taking such great care of me, my blogger friends who sent the most thoughtful gifts and well wishes and of course, my dear husband for always being by my side. I am so thankful for having him in my life and could not have asked for more.

{Everything is packed & ready to go - Showing: Tumi Presidio luggage, Medela breast pumpNikon camera bag}

I am sorry in advance if this post seems a bit out of place. I am such an emotional wreck right now. OK - I better get moving. Wishing you a great weekend and I hope to be back soon!

Goodluck on your c-section. I have been to placenta previa too and gone 50/50 with my youngest almost three years ago. I know your worries and your emotions right now. I will be joining you in your prayers for a successful operation. Will love to read your next post. God bless!
