Style Remix: A Chevron dress

Whoever thought of wearing a dress as a top is a fashion genius - talk about maximizing your wardrobe, right? Although, I didn't invent the idea, I certainly enjoy every bit of it =) I am participating in Tara's what I wore to work link up today. Have a great Thursday, everyone!

What I am wearing:
Shoes: Tahati Sarina pumps via DSW (buy similar)
Sunglasses: Kate Spade Gayla

I agree that the dress as a top or dress as a skirt is the best idea! This dress is so pretty and works perfectly as as a top.
You look great!

This is the most stunning dress ever. I love it. I just adore chevron and bright colours. This dress looks great as a top and incredible with the bright blue.

Love the colorful chevron dress! I'm curious how you layered it under the pencil skirt without it looking bunchy. I can't hardly tuck my shirt in without having problems! :-)

Very pretty. I can't tell there's a dress under the skirt.

@Andi The material of this dress is pretty thin so I was able to tuck it under without any problem =)

Yes, such a great idea, though I haven't tried it out yet. I actually love it as a top more than the dress! Great outfit!

oh my goodness i totally could not tell that was a dress! I LOVE how the chevron are multi-colored! That is so neat! I love how you paired it with the blue skirt. You always look so lovely! Also, to answer your previous question (about my lipstick color), I'm realllyyy cheap- the lipstick that I use are all complimentary gifts that my mom gets from clinique or lancome haha. The one I used is a combination of Lancome "rose" and "honey". Miraculously it turned out okay. I usually end up looking like a clown :)
