A pair of white denim shorts was on my wishlist this summer. I tested out a few pairs and ended up keeping these American Eagle midi shorts because they are spectacular in all aspects. I think it is so hard to find shorts that come up high enough on the waist and are longer on the leg without being the Bermuda length which I am not a fan of. I tried on both the size 00 and 0 to find the best fit and decided on the size 00.
What I am wearing:
Bottom: American Eagle white denim midi shorts - size 00
Sandals: LOFT *old* (buy this year's version for under $25)
The fit for the 00 was just right. The measurements are as follows: waist = 13" across, length in front from top to bottom = 9" and length in back from top to bottom = 11". The back of these shorts is slightly higher to provide extra coverage. Even after a few tosses in the washer and dryer, it stays the same size and doesn't shrink much. These shorts are a great basic and overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.
American Eagle currently offers free shipping all month long which is pretty awesome. I highly recommend these shorts if you're on the hunt for one. They do have a little stretch to them so they'll loosen slightly as you wear them. These shorts have been on heavy rotation as of late. I love pairing white denim with a chambray shirt but white will go with pretty much everything.

I'm actually a huge fan of AE Jeggings & Denim Shorts because their 00S fits like a glove in all the right places and their prices are great since they have sales frequently. :)
The shorts look great with the chambray on top. And those shoes look so easy to pair with lots of summer looks.
