Scarf print and red lipstick

If you’re a long time follower of this blog, you probably already know I am strictly a neutral lip girl. I tend to stick with neutral lipsticks 90% of the time. Once in a while, I enjoy stepping away from the usual nude/pink shade and trying something a bit more daring. I picked up this Rimmel London x Kate Moss lipstick last week and have been enjoying it. The weather begins to cool down quite a bit these days so I thought it would be nice to wear something a bit more fall like. I am wearing shade # 11. The color is a beautiful muted red. I find this color works well for those who are intimidated to wear red lipstick like I am. As a general rule, I kept everything else on my face neutral.

What I am wearing:
Skirt: *old* via PLNDR  (altered)
Earrings: Chanel *bd gift from the husband*  (I also love this)
Sunglasses: Prada 17OS

  1. The red lipstick looks very nice on you and love your new Chanel earrings!

  2. I love how you used minimal jewelry in this look, because it really makes the skirt pop! Such a beautiful and classy look. Those bow flats are just too cute. xo

  3. I love this scarf, you look so gorgeous!

  4. I love that shade of red on you! And I can't believe you're still able to wear a tee and skirt. I'm already taking out my sweaters here.

  5. So pretty! I love the lipstick and this skirt is great!

  6. What a beautiful skirt. I love the skirt and those shoes are PERFECT!

  7. The lip color is gorgeous on you! Also loving the print of the skirt!

  8. That lipstick color look amazing on you! :D I love your skirt too! Very nice outfit.

  9. I know you linked the lipstick correctly, but your initial description says Rommel London x Kate SPADE instead of Kate Moss.

    Rimmel! Auto Correct bested me!

  11. Beautiful outfit Sydney! That lip color looks so good on you! I feel like I've been on a search for the perfect red lip color for so long now, yet it's never "the one" when I actually put it on. I'm going to have to check this one out - it looks great against your skin tone and I also completely agree with keeping everything else neutral with the bold lip color. The pretty colors on your skirt and shoes remind me of Fall :) Hope you had a great weekend!

  12. Good for you for trying out something bold! I used to be afraid of red lips, but I recently tried it out and I'm hooked! You look great - the red suits you!
