Le Tote Review: Chambray shirtdress

{Wearing: Dress | Bag | Sunglasses | Shoes}

Le Tote has recently reached out and offered a 3-month subscription for me to try. For those who aren't familiar with Le Tote, the concept is similar to Rent The Runway except you'll have the option to buy the items at lower price points. Below is how it works:
  • Sign up for the $49 month-to-month subscription
  • Add favorite items to your closet
  • You’ll receive a tote within a few days (3 items + 2 accessories per tote)
  • Wear your items as many times as you want
  • Drop the tote in the mail using the pre-paid label
  • Receive a new tote within a week.

Pros:
  • If you love having something new and fashionable to wear and mix with your existing pieces, this concept will be right up you alley
  • Unlimited new items for $49 bucks a month is a fabulous deal
  • No commitment (you can cancel your subscription at any time)
  • Shipping is fast and free both ways
Cons:
  • The biggest issue for me was the fit. Since everything is in regular sizes, there is no such thing as a perfect fit. However, it’s OK because I am not obligate to buy anything that I am not completely satisfied with.
  • The quality of the clothes and the jewelry is somewhat low.

Overall, I still think it’s a great concept. If you're looking to spruce up your wardrobe in a fun way, I highly recommend you give Le Tote a try. P.S: You'll get $10.00 just for signing up!

Interesting concept, renting clothes! Too bad about the quality and no petite sizing.

Recently you are featuring more sponsored or c/o items and I wish you stay in your original style.

@Anonymous Thank you for your feedback! Yes, there were more opportunities presented to me as of late but I wouldn't say the items I have featured on my blog were far from my true style. You’re from Ohio as well so you know this dress is something we would totally wear around here. I wanted to feature more unique and different stores/labels rather than the same old ones from typical mall stores. Hope that makes sense.

I love your dress! I'm becoming more and more convinced that a dress is the way to go in the Summer rather than shorts :)

That is a really cool concept! I could see myself trying something like that because I do tend to have a short attention span for clothes, so I wouldn't mind if the quality wasn't high because I wouldn't be wearing it that much anyway, you know?

I deeply love the color of that dress. Looks fantastic on you, and such a classic silhouette.
