A pair of over-the-knee boots is on my purchase list this Winter. Of course, I had to check out the infamous Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots in person. Honestly, for something that costs over $600, I wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong. They're still beautiful but I personally don't think they live up to the hype. There are so many versions out there that reminiscent of the 5050. I will review each option as I come across. First up is the Unisa OTK boot (sold at DSW). I am blown away by how similar they are compared to the 5050. *Update* These boots are now sold out but I found several identical dupes here for less: under $60, under $125, under $200 and under $250
As far as overall quality goes, they're not bad. Please keep in mind that they're 1/13 the cost of the 5050. The (faux) leather version did look kind of cheap in person but the suede version was beautiful. These boots run true to size. Not only do they fit my calf but they're also very comfortable (see photos). Available in 8 different colors from the basic back to the wild leopard print, there is certainly something for everyone. I didn't purchase them because there are a few other options that I'd like to try before making my decision. If you're on a budget or would rather spend your hard-earned money on something else other than designer footwear, I highly recommend these boots.

Hey Sydney. Hope you, husband and the babies are good. The more I see otk boots, the more I think they look best in suede anyway. Nice review. Thx :)
Bought them! They did remind of the Stuart Weitzman boots. Thanks for the tip.
OTK boots are on my wish list too. It's great to have a review of the Stewart pair. I love them but could never spend that so it helps to know their are comparable pairs.

@M Glad I can help. I hope they'll work out for you.
Over the knee boot is on my wih list this winter too. Please keep us posted on any other options as well. This was super helpful. I will check if my local DSW has this one. :)
Oh, I checked my local DSW and the smallest size is 5. :( My feet are really small(youth size 1. Yes, you heard me right), so finding shoes are really challenging for me. I have to find adult-like youth shoes, or find it in certain stores. I've found out that I might fit into size 4 for knee high boots, since they have the support around. Hope I will find a good one that fit me right. Thanks again for the recommendation! Let me know if you find anything that comes in smaller sizes as well! =)
@bluepolkadotpjs Thanks for the updates! I will keep my eyes peeled for tiny sizes.
