5 trends I will be rocking this Fall

I am starting 'the Friday Five' series in conjunction with my 'handbag chit chat' posts. As much as I love to write more handbag-related posts, researching and putting my thoughts together are very time consuming. I just simple don't have the time right now. To fill the gaps, I thought it'd be fun to share 5 random things that come to mind. They can be anything from beauty products, fashion trends, latest buys to recipes and random thoughts. Fall is right around the corners and for the first Friday Five, I am sharing 5 trends I will be rocking this Fall (and you should too)

1. Fall florals: The floral trend is usually thought of as something for the warmer months. That is no longer the case. Floral prints are one of the hottest trends this upcoming Fall and Winter. The key is to stick with darker color scheme. An easy way to wear your favorite floral dress in the Fall is to add a long cardigan, a wool hat, a pair of ankle booties and you're good to go.

2. Embroidery: This is the trend I've been enjoying lately and will continue to rock it this Fall/Winter.

3. Velvet: This is a trend I am looking forward to incorporate into my wardrobe. I am currently hunting for a velvet bomber jacket. With an overwhelming amount of fashion pieces out there from bags to shoes and everything in between, there is certain something for everyone.

4. Deconstructed classics: This is another trend that I've been enjoying lately. I love a fun twist on a classic button down or a pair of classic skinny jeans with irregular hem. The trend is set to continue well into Fall and Winter.

5. Power red: According to Elle, red is official the color of Fall 2017 fashion month and I couldn't be happier. The color is powerful and I am a fan. I already own a red coat, a dress dress and a pair of red shoes and a red bag. I am looking to purchase a pair of red trousers this Fall. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.
