March Recap :: April Plans

Courtney
First, I wanted to take a moment to share our family's highlight of the month - Early March, we received a letter from Courtney's school. She has been selected by her teachers to go on an educational trip to Ecuador, South American next summer. How amazing is that? I am so so proud of her. I mentioned in this post that winning the trip to DC was just the beginning. This girl has so much potential. As someone who loves to travel, I am beyond excited for her. This experience will expand her comfort zone, broaden her horizons and most importantly, provide a greater idea of what's really going on in the world she lives in.

March goals:
- Filed our income tax
- We spent almost 5 hours spring cleaning. I decluttered/re-organized my entire closet and the girls' closets. My husband went though the toy cabinets and their art supplies. It was a lot of work but feels so good to live in a clutter-free home
- Our trip to Peru is booked! I can't wait to cross Machu Picchu off our travel bucket list
- Celebrated my Mom's birthday
- Celebrated hubby's birthday with an amazing group of friends
Birthday
April goals/what I am looking forward to:
- Getting a head start on the girls' Easter baskets
- Take Madelyn to as many Easter egg hunts as we can =)
- Looking forward to our girls night out next weekend!
- We just ordered a slab of granite for our outdoor bar. The goal is to have the patio 100% completed before the Memorial Day weekend MarchPurchases_SydneysFashionDiary (1) March purchases: $213
- This lace jumpsuit (only $23)
This adorable swimsuit ($32 and it's amazing!)
- I am changing my entire skincare routine. Picked up the Osmosis Pur Vitamin A Serum ($78) and the PCA Skin Hydrating Serum ($80). Both are medical-grade skincare products. I will do a full review next month

Wishing you the best luck in accomplishing this month's goals! My personal goal this month is to finish my resume and go out looking for a job. I've been procrastinating for the longest time because just a couple of months ago I handed a bunch of resumes everywhere so I wanted to give companies a bit of time before doing it again but I think it's time to do it now.
