Review: Target's Merona Milena Suede Wedges (plus 20% off)

I’ve been looking for something in-between flats and heels for everyday workwear during the cold months. I absolute adore the J.Crew Martina suede wedges but am not sure if it's worth the price. Luckily, I stumbled upon these Target Milena suede wedges and felt in love immediately. My first impression was they’re pretty much identical (even their names sound similar). Now through Jan 28th, take 20% off purchase of $75 or more on Women's, Men's and Kid's clothing, shoes and accessories (including sale styles).

- Fit: I'm generally anywhere between a 6.5 and 7, depending on the shoe. I got these in a 6.5. I think they fit pretty true to size in length. However, width runs a touch on the wider side. I don’t recommend these for someone who has narrow feet. Size down if you're unsure of your size.
- Comfort: There is a good amount of padding on the inside which makes these wedges so comfy to run around in. The best part is the uppers are made from 100% soft, genuine suede leather.
- Color: The color is slightly lighter than in the stock photos. The beauty of neutral shoes is that you can mix and match them with nearly anything.
- Price: They are 50% off in-store (still full-price online). If you’re interested, check with your local stores first before ordering online. My Target has a ton of these left in stock.

If you are heading to Target, you probably want to stop by the shoe section and look for clearance shoes! They have big markdowns on these gorgeous pumps and boots.

..and their new arrivals!

Target shoes are hit or miss for me. However, I almost always find a hidden gem whenever I stop by. If you’re looking for affordable shoes, I highly recommend you check them out.

Readers, are you a fan of Target shoes?

Cute wedges! What a great dupe to the J.Crew ones.

It's too bad I can't fit into Target shoes:(

those are such cute wedges! i can see them being very versatile! how come you returned your CLs?

@Ping I had a conversation with the sales associate at Saks. The guy said flannel doesn’t stretch much. I don’t want to wear tights all the time just to make them fit. I'm not comfortable taking any chances with these shoes. They probably will fit someone who is a true 6 much better. I love them but sadly, have to let them go.

Great finds.
How are the comfort level of the Pemota pumps?

Whoa, suede leather uppers? That's sooo hard to find in "budget" store shoes! Great find!!!!

I also have these shoes and love them. I think these shoes run large. I usually wear a size 7, purchased a size 7, but my feet slip out all the time. I had to add inserts but my feet would be much more comfortable in a 6.5.

Super cute! I have a pair of Missoni x Target flats that I adore. :)

I am not a big fan of Target shoes, my last purchase was the Cynthia V wedges and they were not the best. Although I know some people have had better luck so I will not totally rid the idea of wearing Target shoes. These do look quite fab although I am always afraid of wearing suede shoes for fear of water damages.

Cute heels. I like petite heels like these. Stylish and comfy.

I am so happy you like the Target wedges as much as I do! Oh, and I teeter between a 6.5 and a 7 as well :)

Target shoes are a hit or a miss for me. Sometimes I can find a really cute pair of shoes that I'll wear all the time or some that are not worth getting. Those wedges look promising though.

Great review! I typically like higher heels, but these wedges are pretty cute. I'm always iffy on suede though, because of how quickly it looks dirty.

I have these wedges from Target and I loooove them!! I bought them in the fall when I saw them on another blogger!! In fact I had to have them so bad that when I went to the store they only had size 6 (waaaaay to small) and size 9-I normally wear an 8. So I bought the 9 and bought Dr Scholls airsoles tomake them tigher and they fit perrrrfectly!! Looove loove looove them!!!

P.S. The 10% off code TGTHTT5Z that Vicky shared stacks!

@Love and Company I didn't try them on that day so I am not sure how comfortable they are.

@R.L. Thank you so much for the code!

Thanks for reminder. I tried the wedges back in December and didn't get them. I may have to consider getting the grey one. I got a pair of wedge from Loft that is very similar.

I really love the color of the Women's Merona Kasia Leather Boots. I would totally go get them but I just got a new pair already and dont think I should get another pair. The price is not bad either.

What a great find. . . Target shoes run wide on me so love that you mentioned that, but they really do look the same. Love the shade of the shoe too.

Hi, have you picked those who will get the Ann Taylor bangles yet? I didn't see any announcement, so thought I might have missed it somewhere. Thank you.

Sydney's Fashion Diary said...

@Anonymous Yes, I have picked/announced and sent out those bangles for all 3 winners right before Christmas. I removed their names from the giveaway post after they contacted me (for privacy purposes).

Target really has awesome things at a reasonable price. I haven't been in awhile but now I am dying to go and try on those chunky heels in burgundy!

I love target shoes. I got some flats and they're comfortable. I stopped by a target but couldn't find those wedges anywhere =( Sadly, the closest target to me is over an hour away!
