Nordstrom half-year sale for women and kids starts today. It's one of my favorite sales of the year. Shop the entire sale here. The holidays are upon us. It's never too early to find that perfect dress for NYE. When it comes to evening wear, Adrianna Papell has the best selection. This is a great time to pick up these dresses at great discounts (see the first dress on me).

1. I can't seem to get enough of my leather jacket I bought recently. This is a more affordable option. I am really loving the 2-toned design.

2. This brand is new to me. Has anyone tried this before? The jacket is available in petite sizing which is always a good thing.

3. I am a huge fan of the North Face outerwear. Both of my girls have the puffer version and they keep my kids toasty all winter long.
