Happy birthday my big girl!

My first born turned 15 today. Time sure flies. Last year, I wrote an open letter to Courtney on her 14th birthday. A year later, she's still that amazing daughter that I am incredibly blessed to have. Sometimes, I look at her and I wonder how I got to be so lucky. She is beautiful, smart and most importantly, well-rounded and has a good head on her shoulders. At 14, she has a clear vision for her future. This kid plans to attend Johns Hopkins University to become an anesthesiologist. I am completely aware that the plan may change but she has no plan B. This is what she sets out to do and I have no doubt, one day, she will achieve her goals and dreams. My family came over yesterday for a low-key birthday celebration on the patio and it was perfect! Side note: If you haven't tried the "Celebration" cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, I highly suggest you do so. It's seriously to die for. This girl might look sweet but she is a fighter with great determination. I will continue to beam her with pride, encourage her to follow your best path, learn from her own mistakes, cherish friendships and love, celebrate success and grow with each of her experience. Happiest birthday to my sweet girl! I love you so very much!
