Printed lace up rompers :: Tall gladiator sandals

If you're a long time follower then you know I am a huge fan of rompers in general. I can't get enough of them this summer. They're so fun and easy to wear. I am excited to add this gorgeous romper to my summer wardrobe. I love the print. It's so chic yet has a vintage feel to it. I especially love the lace up front (totally on trend!). The romper is fully lined so no worries about it being see through. I added a belt to cinch in the waist then finished off the look with my beloved gladiator sandals. This is definitely one of my favorite looks that I put together this summer. Dresslily :: Summer Wishlist

Summer is in full swing and I couldn't be happier. I am always looking for pieces to add to my summer wardrobe. Below are a few pieces I am absolutely loving from Dresslily. How cute are these American flag tops? Another trend I am loving at the moment is off the shoulder. From the runway to real life, off the shoulder tops/dresses/jumpsuits have been easily the biggest trend of spring/summer 2017. Another trend I am loving is the one-piece swimsuit. One-piece swimsuits are rising in popularity and no longer boring. This leaf print one piece is so chic and flattering. Those are my favorite summer trends. What are yours?

Floral Midi Dress

I live in dresses during summer and am happy to add this beauty to my ever growing dress collection. I love the print. It's so different, girly and romantic. I am really into the high neckline lately. It beautifully shows off the shoulder area. One thing I wanted to mention is that the dress runs really big. I am wearing an extra small here and it fits like a medium. I typically don't spend money on tailoring affordable pieces. However, this is one of those items that worth getting alterations done. My seamstress took about 2 inches out on each side. The dress moves beautifully as I walk and the floral print is perfect for summer. Summer is in full swing and I couldn't be happier. I am always looking for pieces to add to my summer wardrobe. Below are a few pieces I am absolutely loving from Rosegal. How cute are these red bikini bottoms? Another trend I am loving at the moment is off the shoulder. From the runway to real life, off the shoulder tops/dresses/jumpsuits have been easily the biggest trend of spring/summer 2017. Another trend I am loving is the one-piece swimsuit. One-piece swimsuits are rising in popularity and no longer boring. This leaf print one piece is so chic and flattering. You can shop the rest of their one-piece swimsuits here. Printed Maxi Dress

It's expected that the weather in Punta Cana to be extremely hot and humid. I spent most of the day in swimsuits and cover-ups. These pictures were taken right after my shower (hence, wet hair) without any makeup on. Thanks goodness for oversized sunglasses =) I ordered this dress because I love the retro style. It's hard to tell in the photos but the fabric is so thin that it's impossible to wear it as a dress. However, I love to wear it as a swim coverup. Since the fabric is sheer, the dress is so airy and flows well. Outfit details: Zaful dress c/o | Target sandals | Tom Ford sunglasses

Printed 2-piece Swimsuit :: Crochet Coverup

I spent months searching for the perfect swimsuit and am very pleased with that I got. Today, I wanted to share some thoughts on the suit I purchased earlier this month (top & bottom). I am completely new to 6 Shore Road and didn't know what to expect. My order arrived and I couldn't be happier. I love how fun and unique the print is. The fabric has a good weight to it and is not see through. They run true to size. I ordered both the bottom and top in XS and they fit perfectly in every way. The bottom comes up just barely above my belly button which I prefer. This is one of those swimsuits that make me feel great and confident. One thing I wanted to mention is that the top is lined but has no support whatsoever. I sewed these water cups into the liner for some support and they work out just fine. The same print is also available in one-piece. Even though the suit is pretty conservative, I still like to have a cover up at the beach. This one couldn't be more perfect. The material is breathable, quick dry and great to throw on going to and from the beach. Update: Bloomingdales just marked down tons of designer swimsuits (70% off). Brands including Mara Hoffman, Nanette Lepore, Tory Burch (prices are so good - today only!). Outfit details: 6 Shore Road top | 6 Shore Road bottom *both in XS* | Tom Ford sunglasses | Shein beach cover-up c/o | Forever 21 hat

WHBM Tie Front Stripe Maxi Dress

Just a quick post today to show you this amazing maxi dress. For a limited time, you can get this dress for under $40. I got it a few weeks ago and have been wearing non-stop. I brought it to the Dominican Republic with me and it was a dream. The material is so soft and comfortable to wear. It skims the body and hugs in all the right places. You can tie the belt in the front for a casual look or tie it in the back for a more formal look to show off your curves. The only thing I wanted it to mention is that the length is very long on me (I am 5'2"). I asked my Mom to hem it above my ankle so that I can wear it with flat sandals. Other than that, I really love it and would highly recommend the dress. I already washed it a few times and it has held up pretty well. Outfit details: WHBM maxi dress *size XXS* | Target sandals | Tom Ford sunglasses | Kenneth Jay Lane pearl earrings

Nude Lace Romper :: Double duty

My family and I just came back from our wonderful vacation in the Dominican Republic. When packing for a trip, I always make sure to bring versatile pieces that serve double-duty. This particular romper is perfect for a beach vacation. It's neutral, extremely light weight and can be worn as a beach cover up. I adore the lace trim and the romantic feel of this rompers. The fabric is unlined and on the thinner side. Because of that, I prefer to wear it as a beach cover up but it would work either way. Esqido Lashes From Day To Night

Just a quick post today to show you some new lash styles from Esqido. As you may or may not know I am a fan of false eyelashes. I wear very minimal makeup so false eyelashes are the quickest and easiest way to open up my eyes. I've been a long time fan of Esqido eyelashes and first talked about their lashes here. I also wrote a quick guide on how to apply false lashes here. Esqido was kind enough to send me a few new pairs to play with so I wanted to show you how they look on me. I apply the Esqido eyelash glue to all my lashes.

Unboxing :: Chanel Caviar Chevron WOC In Red

Today, I have a little reveal for you - my gorgeous Chanel wallet on chain in the chevron print. This is a replacement of my navy timeless WOC. I always wanted to add a red bag to my collection at some point. This particular piece was from Chanel's 2016 Spring collection. It has the most beautiful classic shade of red. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the last few pieces (purchased in March). I won't go into details as I've talked about the wallet on chain to death on this blog. I personally think it is one of the most versatile pieces from Chanel. Hope you enjoy a little eye candy today and have a great weekend!

Favorite summer products

Today, I wanted to quickly share some beauty/skincare/makeup products that I have been loving this summer. Some of them are my long time favorites and some are recent discoveries

Favorite tanning products: I love to have a bit of color on my skin during summer. Sun bathing is not something I want to do (nor have time to do). Therefore, I depend on reliable self tanners to create my sunshine. I recently discovered the Tanceuticals CC self tanning body lotion and face lotion and am loving both products so far. It dries really quickly and has a wonderful coconut smell. Both products blend easily and do not come off on clothes or sheets. The lotion do take 12 hours to fully develop (I use the color dark). Since it's a color and correct tanning lotion, it improves the appearance and health of your skin as well. If you want an immediate hint of color, I've been using the Shiseido self-tanning gel for years. A little goes a long way. It does have that typical self tan smell but does not linger long. This product blends, comes off evenly and gives you a natural-looking tan.

Pineapple Tee :: Distressed Shorts

I've mentioned several times that a pair of distressed shorts are a summer must have. I wear mine every single weekend and will probably purchase a backup soon. Last weekend, I paired my trusty denim with short with this adorable pineapple tee. How cute is it? I love the slightly slouchy fit and the rolled up sleeves. They give off an effortless and chic flair. Happy Monday, everyone! How to style an orange bag

For this week's handbag chit chat, I wanted to share a few ways to style an orange bag. As mentioned previously, I was very skeptical about purchasing an orange bag especially something that is so expensive. Thanks to my husband who convinced me that I should go for it. I took it out a couple of times for date nights and am intrigued by the versatility of orange. For the first outfit, I paired the bag with my green/blue dress. Since blue and green are two orange's complimentary colors, they look great together. Complimentary colors are colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel.

Summer Vacation Haul 2016

I've never done a haul on my blog before. To be honest, I don't buy clothes on a regular basis. I can't remember the last time I actually went out and purchased new clothes. My husband and I are taking the girls on a beach vacation soon so I've been shopping here and there. Since there will be tons of sales this weekend, I decided to skip this week's handbag chit chat to show you what I purchased for the trip just in case you want to take advantages of the holiday weekend sales. I didn't have time to photograph them yet but hopefully, you'll be able to see them on the blog in the next few weeks.
